Trading Standards
As organisers of occasional sales in Kent we are required by the Kent County Council Act 2001to provide a list of all sellers in attendance at each sale and retain this information on file for a period of two years. Your details will not be passed onto any third party but your email address will be used to inform you of future Kids & Kaboodle sales, unless you request that you do not want us to use it for this purpose. Your details may be forwarded to Kent County Council Trading Standards if we are requested to do so. It is a criminal offence for us to provide or hence for you to provide us with false information.
Car Registrations
As organisers of occasional sales in Kent we are required by the Kent County Council Act 2001to provide records and retain on file for a period of two years the registration numbers of vehicles that sellers bring to the sale and hence, you are required to provide this information.
Table Bookings
Table Bookings are subject to availability and are made on a first come first served basis.
A booking is only accepted by completion of the on-line booking form and making a payment on-line via PayPal.
Postal bookings or payments are no longer accepted.
Confirmation
On-line bookings are confirmed by email immediately following receipt of on-line payment.
If you do not receive a confirmation in accordance with these time periods you should contact us immediately.
Cancellation
In the event that you have to cancel your booking, or cancel a table if booking more than one table, the following charges will apply:
Over five working days prior to the event: 0%
Between three and five days before the event: 50% of the total cost of your booking
Up to 2 working days before the event: 100% of the total cost of your booking
Sales Area
Your Sales Area comprises of a 1.8m x 0.7m trestle table or similar sized table. The table is placed within a space that measures approximately 2.5m wide by 1.5m deep. You will therefore have floor space approximately 0.3m to each side and 0.4m to the front and rear of your table. You may supply and place a small clothes hanging rail or similar sized display apparatus to the side of your table within your Sales Area. Each table may be supervised by a maximum of two persons.
Selling Rules
If you wish to sell items, please ensure you have read the following:
Due to health and safety reasons we advise that you do not sell the following items -
Crash or bike helmets
Soft toys with loose eyes, buttons or stuffing
Hand knitted toys
Food or drinks
Beakers or cups
Car seats
Potties or toilet training seats
Mattresses
Dummies
Toys and equipment should comply with British Safety Standards
Puzzles and board games should be complete
All electronic toys should be in working order and with instructions, if possible
Clothes should be clean

Unless authorised by us you are only permitted to sell baby's or children's clothes, toys and equipment and associated goods.
Please bring only good quality items that you would be happy to buy yourself!
Venue Rules
By attending a sale as a buyer or seller you acknowledge and accept the rules of the venue management and agree to abide by any reasonable requests of their employees. In particular you are required to keep all fire exits clear of obstruction and comply with emergency procedures.
Setting Up and Clearing Away
Sellers are permitted to enter the venue one hour before the sale and must be fully set up by the start time. Transactions are only permitted between the start and finish times. Sellers are required to remove all unsold goods, display equipment and the like and clear all rubbish from their sales area within one hour after the end of the sale.
